Aiming at the sand production phenomenon that occurs during the development and production of loose (or uncemented) sandstone reservoirs, our company has developed a polymer sand-fixing agent. During the construction process, after the polymer sand control agent solution is injected into the formation, it will be evenly distributed on the surface of the formation pores through electrostatic adsorption. Under the influence of formation temperature and pressure, the components of the polymer sand-fixing agent will continue to undergo cross-linking and copolymerization to form a high-strength polymer network structure. They will be tightly adsorbed on the particle surface and at the same time bridge the loose particles to achieve the purpose of sand fixation and sand control.
Polymer sand consolidation agent can be applied to the following ranges:
1. The formation is not cemented or is loosely cemented, producing a large amount of mud and fine silt;
2. Newly developed reservoirs basically have no skeleton or the loose skeleton has not been destroyed;
3. The formation after hydration and expansion produces mud or fine silt.
Storage and transportation conditions
1. The polymer sand fixing agent need to keep the container tightly sealed when storing.
2. The polymer sand fixing agent should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, and should be kept away from heat and fire sources.
3.The polymer sand fixing agent should be protected from impact during transportation. It is strictly forbidden to mix with food for transportation.
